Current Residents & Preceptors

I view our clinical pharmacy team as essential for both high quality patient-centered rounding and trainee education. The pharmacy resident is a key part of rounds and has opportunity for critical input on every single patient we see each day. Our training physicians learn as much from our pharmacists, including the pharmacy residents, as they do from me. And personally the evidence-based knowledge gains I get from our pharmacist colleagues is the most valuable source of continuing medical education I receive on a weekly basis.

Preceptors in our department have a broad range of training experience and come from residency training programs across the United States. Our residents also have moved on to complete PGY2 training at numerous institutions, and many are currently board-certified.
