Program Overview
The Methodist Healthcare Excellence in Pharmacy Residency Training Awards Program recognizes excellence & leadership in various areas of pharmacy resident training. Our awards program honors residents & preceptors who embody the Methodist core values and was formally established in 2015 - 2016 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of residency training at Methodist Healthcare.
MLH Pharmacy Residency Mission, Vision, Values Award
This award recognizes a pharmacy resident who most embodies the five core values our organization: service, quality, innovation, teamwork & integrity. The resident demonstrates their dedication to supporting our pharmacy department’s mission & going the extra mile for the team.

Preceptor of the Year Award
This award recognizes a preceptor who has significantly contributed to the personal & professional growth of our residents. Recipients demonstrate the ability to motivate, coach, mentor, & educate residents throughout their postgraduate training. The residency classes select this award in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy.
