Pharmacy Germantown - PGY1 Program
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Pharmacy Residency’s track record of excellence in residency training spans more than 50 years and has produced graduates who excel in practice, research, teaching, and leadership across the profession of pharmacy.
Residents gain valuable experience working at their individual institution, as well as with pharmacy leaders across a multi-hospital system. Our programs have graduated over 200 clinical pharmacists.

Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital has offered an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency since 2012. The program accepts 2 residents annually. The purpose of the program is to provide the resident with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to become a competent pharmacy practitioner.
I have had the pleasure to work closely with the pharmacy residency program over the last year. I am pleased to say that this has allowed me to not only better understand the clinical pharmacy role and its unbelievable impact, but also for the pharmacy residents to get a different perspective of inpatient care. This collaboration has been proven to be mutually beneficial!
