Medical Staff Services
The Medical Staff Services team processes initial and reappointment applications for the Unified Medical Staff of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.
Our Credentialing team facilitates the credentialing and privileging process, including primary source verification for the following facilities:
- Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Hospitals - Germantown, Le Bonheur, North, South, University and Olive Branch Hospital
- MLH Affiliated Surgery Centers - Hamilton Eye Institute, Germantown Surgery Center, Le Bonheur East Surgery Center, and Wolf River Surgery Center (*credentialing only)
Application Process for Physicians, Dentists, Advanced Practice Nurses, Certified Physician Assistants, Psychologists, and Podiatrists:
- Request an application using the CCVS form.
- Coordinators contact applicants as needed to ensure timely receipt of required documentation to complete the application process.
- Once an application is deemed complete and verified, it is expected to be processed within 120 days, unless it becomes incomplete.

Application Process for Contingent Workers
Methodist Human Resources approves external/contingent workforce professionals to work in our facilities through a separate process.
These professionals work under the supervision of a sponsoring, credentialed physician. Contingent roles include Clinical Research Assistants, Emergency Department Scribes and Rounding Nurses (RN).
