The Cancer Center of Memphis, Tn
Through a combined approach of physicians, nurses, volunteers and support staff, The Methodist Cancer Center in Memphis, Tennessee focuses on the most important part of medicine – the patient. Everything that relates to a patient going through treatment for cancer is attended to by our staff that make giving support and hope, and caring for the patient, their first priority. The Cancer Center, located at Methodist University Hospital, uses a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges that come with a diagnosis of cancer and its subsequent treatment.
Through membership in the national cooperative research group, Cancer and Leukemia Group B, and as the site of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center's surgical and medical oncology training program, we have access to numerous developing therapies. Both provide the center an opportunity to become a major contributor to world-renowned oncology research.
