Quality of Care

As a learning organization, we continue to challenge ourselves with new certifications, accreditations, and partnerships each year. Combined, they not only strengthen the quality of care we deliver to patients, but the quality of care pathways that stretch across our community.

About the Methodist Healthcare Quality Report

The public Methodist Healthcare Quality Report shows the performance of our individual hospitals on several nationally recognized quality indicators compared with state and national benchmarks. Although much of this information is available on other public websites, we believe in being transparent, open, and honest about the quality of care we provide and our efforts to provide consistently excellent care to our patients.

These quality indicators are nationally recognized as measures of care that our patients should expect in our hospitals. We have attempted to provide some context and information to help you understand what these clinical quality indicators mean and why they are important.

Over time, we will report more measures regarding the quality of care we provide. We will not decide what to report based on how well or how poorly we perform. Our goal is to provide you with accurate information about the care we provide and to keep our hospitals, doctors, and nurses accountable to you, our patients.
