Volunteer Services
Methodist Healthcare could not be the leading healthcare provider in the Mid-South without the help of donors and volunteers. These are people who give their time, money, expertise and special skills, whether full or part-time, to make a difference in the lives of patients. They embody the true spirit of giving and sacrifice that help make "miracles" happen everyday.
We live in a society that has always depended on volunteers of different kinds. If you look closely, you can see that almost anything that embodies our deepest commitment to the way human life should be lived and cared for, depends on people who have the spirit of volunteerism.
A smile costs nothing, but it gives much to others. It enriches others who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
If you're interested in learning how you can help touch the lives of the people of your community through Methodist Healthcare, there are several ways that we could use your assistance:
We are also affilitated with the United Methodist Fellowship of Health Care Volunteers (UMF/HCV) and the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM), SEJ.
If you would like to become a part of our volunteer staff at any of our adult hospitals, please call our office at 901.516.7481.
