Speech Therapy

A speech therapist can help a patient with impaired speech regain the ability to communicate clearly. Speech therapy focuses on a patient's feeding skills, motor-speech skills and receptive and expressive language skills. Our speech therapists evaluate cognitive functioning and social interaction skills. The speech therapist may develop oral sensory-motor skills, speech listening and conversational skills and higher-level cognitive skills, such as problem solving, reasoning, judgment and decision-making.
