Get Together For a Little Girl Talk
A fun educational program for mothers and daughters
Germantown, Tenn. – With a little “Girl Talk,” mothers can help their daughters grow from little girls into young women and empower them with the knowledge they need. “Girl Talk” is an educational program offered by Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital to enhance communication between mothers and their pre-teen daughters about sexuality, family values, decision making and responsibility. The class is designed for girls from nine to 12 years old.
The next “Girl Talk” session begins Thursday, September 15, and meets every Thursday through October 6. The first class is for mothers only and daughters join their mothers for the next three classes. Each class will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 of the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion on the campus of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital, 7691 Poplar Ave. “Girl Talk” costs $50 for mother and daughter.
