Former Le Bonheur NICU Patients and Families Gather at Reunion

To celebrate the many lives that have been saved inside Le Bonheur’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Le Bonheur hosted a NICU Reunion on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 1-3 p.m. in the lobby of the new hospital.

More than 100 former NICU patients and their families attended the event, which included food, games and a short program. Guests had the opportunity to tour the new 60-bed NICU, located on the hospital’s fourth floor.

Le Bonheur’s NICU, opened in 2004, is the only Level III C neonatal nursery within a 200-mile radius of Memphis. The region’s most critically ill babies are referred to Le Bonheur from surrounding birthing hospitals.
