One of the most common neurological disorders in the country, epilepsy develops in people of all ages, races and ethnic backgrounds. Currently, more than 2.5 million Americans live with the condition, and each year, the number increases with more than 180,000 people experiencing seizures and epilepsy for the first time. In the face of such numbers, the need for expert care is evident.
