Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare knows the joy a child brings. The MLH adoption assistance program offers the following benefits for full-time, part-time, and weekender Associates seeking to be reimbursed for adoption expenses and who plan to adopt children aged 18 and under:

  • Full-time Associates - eligible for reimbursement of up to $5,000 per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum)
  • Part-time Associates - eligible for reimbursement benefits up to $2,500 per child ($5,000 lifetime maximum)
  • Weekender Associates - eligible for reimbursement benefits up to $2,500 per child ($5,000 lifetime maximum)

MLH provides short (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) programs to provide income replacement in the event you are unable to work due to your own illness or injury.  In addition to the plans paid for by MLH, Associates can purchase additional coverage for both STD and LTD.

MLH offers two flexible spending accounts – healthcare and dependent day care – through HealthEquity/WageWorks.  The accounts allow Associates to contribute pre-tax dollars on an annual basis.  When you sign up, you receive a convenient HealthyEquity/WageWorks card to use for purchases.

  • Healthcare spending account – eligible medical expenses
  • Dependent day care spending account – cost of care (child day care and elder day care) for any eligible dependent of a working parent.

The Methodist Healthcare Employee Assistance Program provides confidential, professional assessment and counseling services to you and your dependents. Up to 10 free counseling sessions are provided at no cost.

    Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare knows the importance of having protection for your family in the event of your death. MLH provides three policies to Associates at no cost:

    • Basic life insurance coverage to full time Associates of 1 1/2 times annual base salary rounded to the next $1000, up to a maximum of $50,000.
    • Basic accidental death & dismemberment of $1000 for full and part time Associates.
    • Business Travel Accident Insurance of $50,000 for full time, part time and supplemental Associates

    Additionally, full time Associates can purchase supplemental coverage on themselves, their spouse and dependent children.

      MLH offers two medical (with pharmacy) plans – EPO Select and EPO, a dental plan and vision plan to eligible Associates.

      As a healthcare provider, our medical plan has a Client Specific Network. Inpatient and outpatient services are covered at MLH facilities. Out-of-network benefits are provided for emergencies or if you live more than 100 miles from the 38117 zip code. Both dental and eye coverage are important to your overall health. Our plans provide excellent coverage for preventive care so we encourage you to get your regular preventive care checkups.

      Get Your Pay When You Need It.

      MLH partnered with DailyPay to offer Associates on-demand access to their earned pay using the DailyPay app. Earnings may be transferred instantly for a fee of $3.49 or transferred next business day for free.

      At MLH, we recognize that our Associates need an opportunity to take time away from work to relax, spend time with family and friends and tend to family needs and personal responsibilities.

      Our Paid Time Off plan (PTO) is designed to provide maximum flexibility for Associates by combining time off for vacation, holidays and short-term illness into one bank.

      Eligibility:  Full time and Weekender

      Selling Back PTO:Associates will be given the opportunity to elect to sell back a limited amount of PTO at 100% value each year at predetermined sell back periods.

      MLH offers a Retirement Savings Plans 401(k) or 403(b). Full and part-time Associates receive a $1 MLH match for every $1 of Associate contributions up to 6% of pay. Supplemental Associates may contribute but do not receive the match. You can contribute pre-tax and/or post-tax (Roth) contributions up to the annual IRS limit. If you maximize your tax deferrals in the 401(k) or 403(b) Plan, you can also defer additional dollars into a 457(b) deferred compensation plan.

      Tuition assistance encourages educational development by providing financial assistance for college tuition to Associates obtaining degrees to gain new knowledge and job skills that help them advance their career at MLH.

      Eligibility: Tuition assistance is available to full-time and part-time Associates with at least 6 months of continuous employment.

      The tuition assistance cap can cover up to $4,500 depending on type of employment and the degree program level.
