Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush to Keynote Methodist Healthcare Luncheon
The Methodist Healthcare Foundation will host an inspiring conversation with Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush, during the annual Methodist Healthcare Luncheon Dec. 10 at the Peabody Hotel.
“We are so excited to once again host our annual Methodist Healthcare Luncheon event at the Peabody alongside this incredible speaker duo,” said Methodist Healthcare Foundation President Zach Pretzer. “More than just an engaging and inspirational event, proceeds will help further advance our faith-based mission. Whether you attend in person or virtually, your support allows us to address critical health and social needs of our patients and community. ”
Hager and Bush are the daughters of former U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. Hager is an award-winning daytime TV host and correspondent, best-selling author and women’s and children’s health advocate. In her latest book, Everything Beautiful in Its Time, Hager reflects on her childhood and lessons learned from her grandparents.
Bush is co-founder and board chair of Global Health Corps, a passionate voice for health equity issues, entrepreneur and best-selling author.
Hager and Bush jointly authored their second children’s book, The Superpower Sisterhood, slated for release in April 2022. Their first children’s book, Sisters First, released in 2019, was inspired by their 2017 original release depicting their own experiences growing up together.
Action News 5 Anchor Joe Birch will emcee the event. Cigna is the Platinum Sponsor, and US Bank and FedEx are Gold Sponsors. All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit the faith-based, healing mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.
