The annual Methodist Healthcare Luncheon brings together healthcare leaders, patients, families, donors and friends to enjoy a delicious lunch and inspiring conversation with a celebrity keynote speaker.

All proceeds from the Methodist Healthcare Luncheon benefit the faith-based, healing mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.

This Year’s Host: Laila Ali

We are pleased to welcome our 2026 speaker, Laila Ali, an undefeated boxing world champion, author, television host, entrepreneur and dedicated advocate for heart health and wellness.

As the youngest daughter of legendary boxer and humanitarian Muhammad Ali, Laila grew up with an extraordinary example of what it means to make an impact in and outside the ring. A member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, she retired with a perfect 24-0 record, including 21 knockouts and five world championship titles.

Laila is a dedicated health and wellness advocate. She is a longtime ambassador for the American Heart Association and has helped raise awareness about cardiovascular health and heart disease prevention.

Laila also brings her passion for healthy living into the kitchen. A self-taught home cook since childhood, she is the author of the bestselling cookbook Food for Life: Delicious & Healthy Comfort Food from My Table to Yours! and is a two-time winner of Food Network's Chopped celebrity competition.
