Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare names Crabb Chief Business Development Officer
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has named Michael “Trey” Crabb, III senior vice president and chief business development officer. Crabb joins the healthcare system from Morgan Stanley, where he founded the firm’s national hospital and health systems merger and acquisition efforts.
“Trey has been a trusted advisor to healthcare systems across the US for more than 25 years,” said MLH President and CEO Michael Ugwueke. “He has extensive strategic transaction experience with a significant focus on not-for-profit providers, payors and physician organizations.”
Crabb, a native Memphian, will advance the healthcare system’s strategic relationships, identify innovative new partners and enhance patient care services.
Prior to his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Crabb served as managing director for Ziegler Investment Banking, based in Chicago. For nearly a decade, he has served as an adjunct faculty member for the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Crabb holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and investment management from the University of Alabama, and received two master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
