Mahmoud Mustafa Musa, MD

Transplant Nephrologist

Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Musa is a board-certified transplant nephrologist with extensive experience caring for patients with complex kidney disease. He completed his bachelor's degree, medical degree, and initial residency at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan, followed by residency and fellowship training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He also completed an advanced Transplant Nephrology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Musa treats conditions ranging from acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease to end-stage renal disease, dialysis needs, and comprehensive pre- and post- transplant care, including rejections and immunosuppression management. His approach centers on careful listening, thorough bedside evaluation, and accurate diagnosis as the foundation for effective treatment. He is certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is fluent in Arabic.
