For patients who experience chronic snoring and sleep apnea, our physicians are specially trained to diagnose and treat certain conditions. We offer several treatment options to alleviate your symptoms.
Through our treatment options, you will experience improved symptoms and maintain control over chronic snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
Conditions Treated:
- Obstructive Sleep Apnea
- Snoring
- Deviated Septum
- Nasal Valve Collapse
- Inferior Turbinate Hypertrophy
Treatment Options:
Pillar Procedure: An in-office procedure under local anesthesia which implants threads to stiffen the palate and reduce the vibrations that create the snoring sound.
Radiofrequency Ablation: An in-office procedure under local anesthesia to shrink swollen tissue that blocks the nose and stiffen the tissues of the throat that contribute to snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
Nasal Surgery: Outpatient procedure to improve the function of the nasal passages to allow a deeper, more restful sleep.
Drug-Induced Sleep Endoscopy (DISE): An outpatient examination evaluating the areas of collapse of the airway under drug-induced sleep. DISE allows for a more rational treatment plan and better procedure selection.
Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation Therapy: A small pacemaker like device that stimulates the upper airway. Through these treatment options, you will experience improved symptoms and maintain control over chronic snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS): Surgical removal of throat tumors without the need for external incisions. TORS is occasionally used to remove tongue tissue that blocks the airway and contributes to obstructive sleep apnea.
