Circles of Joy Installation Celebrates New Life, Exceptional Care, & Gratitude at Methodist Germantown's Pavilion
The Pavilion at Methodist Germantown Hospital provides clinical quality and safety to expecting and new moms and their babies. The state-of-the-art Pavilion was built on the Methodist Germantown Hospital campus in 2010 to provide a comfortable, beautiful, and safe space for women and babies.
The new Circles of Joy artistic installation offers patients, family members, companies, and community members a beautiful opportunity to support the future of The Pavilion at Methodist Germantown Hospital. The two installations will be located in the main lobby of The Pavilion and in the NICU.
Donors to the Circles of Joy campaign can choose to give in celebration of a birth, to honor or memorialize loved ones, or to express appreciation for caregivers. Each gift will directly support the faith-based healing mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. Donations through this campaign will help ensure that quality labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care are accessible in our community. Donor support will also help further investments in technology and equipment; research; support and training for caregivers; improved patient and family experiences; and community education.
Installation of this display began in January of 2022 and many have already made gifts of support and selected their circle on the wall to celebrate their family members. David and Rita Hankins chose to support the NICU installation, in honor of their granddaughter, Vivian. “In 2016, when Vivian was born, she spent 65 days at the NICU at Methodist Germantown. Through her care, we have seen first-hand the quality of care and dedication provided by Methodist. Through our gift, we want to help ensure that these facilities are here to help other families and also to provide resources to keep advancing patient care,” David shared.
Sara and Kevin Adams have been fortunate to have not one, but three grandchildren born in the Pavilion at Germantown. “After our first precious grandbaby girl was born one month early in 2018, we were really nervous and didn't know what to expect. The MLH staff was amazing and so professional, thorough and patient with the baby, her parents, and even her worried grandparents! When granddaughter #2 arrived in 2019, we were so comfortable coming up to the NICU to see her."
"Our third granddaughter arrived during COVID so we were not able to visit, but we were so confident in the care we knew she was receiving - we were no longer the worried grandparents! We are thrilled to express our gratitude for the fabulous Methodist NICU staff and support the care for future families who may need NICU services”.
