Methodist Healthcare Foundation Announces New Director of Development


Kristin Rayford has joined the Methodist Healthcare Foundation team as Director of Development. In this role, Kristin will help lead the Foundation’s corporate partnerships and fundraising, as well as assist with major gift philanthropic outreach to further advance the Foundation’s mission of elevating the well-being of our, their families and our community.

Rayford most recently served as the Regional Director of Development for the Salvation Army, leading all fundraising and resource development initiatives in Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee.

Prior to her role at the Salvation Army, she served in leadership positions with fundraising successes at the Kappa Delta Foundation, the University of Memphis, and Tennessee Preparatory Academy.

“Kristin brings a terrific amount of fundraising experience and knowledge to our Foundation team,” said Zach Pretzer, Methodist Healthcare Foundation President. “We are excited for her to join us, and I am confident she will play a key role in uplifting our Foundation’s philanthropic relationships in Memphis and beyond.”

A native Texan who has lived in Memphis for nine years, Rayford is a graduate of the University of Memphis. She is an active community volunteer and is the incoming President for the Campus School Parent Network, a volunteer advisory board at the University of Memphis Campus School.
