Go Pink with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in October!
Memphis, TN maintains one of the highest disparities in breast cancer mortalities between Black women and White women in the country. To reduce this health disparity, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is again celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October to both promote awareness and to increase access to preventive breast health screenings and cancer care for all women in our community. Earlier detection and treatment are the key to ending breast cancer mortality.
Please read below to learn about simple ways you can get involved this Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
-
Schedule Your Mammogram
Schedule a mammogram by calling Methodist at 901.516.9000 for an appointment at the Comprehensive Breast Center in Midtown or in Germantown, Methodist South Hospital, or Methodist North Hospital. Call 662.932.9153 to schedule an appointment at the Southaven Diagnostic Center.
If you have already received a mammogram, you can still help by encouraging a friend, loved one, or coworker to schedule their screening!
-
Purchase an "MLH Goes Pink" T-Shirt
