Community Health Initiatives

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is committed to addressing the most critical healthcare needs and disparities of our community within and outside of our hospital walls. We believe we have a responsibility to partner with our community to promote and protect their own health and well-being, and we do so through evidence-based programs and services for children and families.

Funded primarily through philanthropy, Methodist Le Bonheur Community Outreach employs over 250 Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Associates working in the community with over 500 community partners to provide over 20 evidence-based and best-practice programs and services.

  • Current Community Health Initiatives Focus on:
  • Risk Reduction for Children and Families
  • Intervention to Promote Health Development and Effective Parenting
  • Community Partnerships to Promote the Health and Well-Being of Families

Examples of meaningful programs that your support can sustain, enhance, and expand include: the Congregational Health Network, Diabetes Education and Prevention, Healthy Families America, Hispanic Community Navigation, and Wellness Without Walls.
