The Methodist Behavioral Health Center is located in a dedicated building attached to Methodist North Hospital.
The Methodist Behavioral Health Center at Methodist North Hospital provides compassionate, quality mental health care and treatment to patients across the Mid-South. The 34-bed acute inpatient Behavioral Health Center is a secure unit that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing psychiatric treatment and support to adults, ages 18 and up, who are experiencing a crisis or need stabilization.
Accredited by the Det Norske Veritas (DNV) organization, the Behavioral Health Center is committed to providing exceptional mental health care and treatment.
Our behavioral health staff includes internal medicine and psychiatric physicians, family nurse practitioners, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, licensed medical social workers, mental health counselors, registered nurses, and mental health technicians.
Services Offered
Our acute inpatient behavioral health program offers a variety of treatment services based upon individualized care needs, which are assessed at admission and during treatment to fit each patient’s needs.

- Acute psychiatric emergencies and stabilization
