Methodist Monoclonal Antibody Treatment - Hacks Cross

Dear Patient:

You have been scheduled for Monoclonal Antibody treatment at the Methodist Monoclonal Infusion Center at 8071 Winchester Rd. Suite 1, Memphis, TN,  38125 (Corner of Hacks Cross and Winchester).

Please review the information about the antibody treatment at https://www.regeneron.com/downloads/treatment-covid19-eua-fact-sheet-for-patient.pdf prior to your appointment. If not already completed, the provider will go over the treatment and have you sign a consent form before your infusion starts.

On the day of your appointment please:

  • Arrive at clinic at time of appointment
  • Enter clinic through glass double doors and press the button to the right of the inside doors, clinic staff will let you in and show you where to go.
  • Call 901-756-3217 if you need to cancel or re-schedule appointment
  • Wear a face mask at all times in the clinic
  • Bring your insurance card and ID with you to your appointment
  • If you were not tested at an MLH facility, please bring a copy of your positive test results

What you can expect:

  • Upon entering the Infusion Center, a nurse will check your blood pressure, heart rate and other vital signs. You will then receive the infusion by IV while being continuously monitored, followed by a one hour observation period.
  • Plan to be at the Infusion Center for a minimum of 2- 2.5 hours.
  • The infusion is given through an IV. Please make sure to drink plenty of fluids prior to your visit to prevent dehydration.
  • The nurse will discuss discharge instructions and answer any questions you have prior to discharge.
  • It may be cold in the treatment room, please bring a blanket or dress warm
  • Please note that the cost of the drug and the cost to administer the drug are separate. Because the federal government has purchased a supply of certain monoclonal antibody treatments, there is no cost to the patient for the monoclonal antibody drug itself; however, there may be costs associated with administration of the drug. Checking insurance coverage is advised.

After the monoclonal antibody infusion:

  • After leaving the clinic, follow the discharge instructions provided
  • Please call 901-516-0033 if you experience any adverse effects noted or if you have additional questions after your treatment.
