Families from all walks of life turn to Methodist Hospice Residence and Hospice Home Care for quality end-of-life care and compassion during a loved one’s final days. But what about the children or family left behind?
Camp BraveHearts is a family grief day camp offered by Methodist Hospice each spring to help children ages 6-16 cope with the death of a family member or friend. The three-day camp is a safe place where feelings of grief can be expressed. By sharing their grief with others, through play and adventure, children and adults can begin to let go.
Camp BraveHearts is provided free of charge to all of our campers and families thanks to donors like you. Will you give today to help a child heal? Your gift of $60 will sponsor one camper.
To help a child attend, give online today or contact Joey Maurizi at joey.maurizi@mlh.org or 901-516-0996.
