The Methodist University Hospital Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Residency program has been named the 2018 Pharmacy Residency Excellence Award winner by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Foundation.
“Pharmacy plays a vital role in our patients’ experience, and we are extremely proud of the commitment the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Pharmacy Residency Program demonstrates to achieve excellence in training future pharmacists,” said Chris Finch, Pharmacy Director for Methodist University Hospital.
The award recognizes excellence and leadership in the training and mentoring of pharmacy residents. The MLH Pharmacy Residency Program was honored last week at the ASHP Mid-year Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Anaheim, California. It is the largest gathering of pharmacy professionals in the world, attracting more than 25,000 attendees from around the globe.
