Interventional cardiologist, Abdul-Rahman Abdel-Karim, MD, has joined Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and will practice with the health system’s Sutherland Cardiology Clinic.
Dr. Abdel-Karim earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
He completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas as well as a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Abdel-Karim is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, he is board certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.
Dr. Abdel-Karim is a member of the Jordanian Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, and the National Board of Echocardiography.
His interests include heart attack, chronic angina, peripheral arterial disease, and chronic total occlusion.
Dr. Abdel-Karim sees patients at Sutherland Cardiology Clinic – Methodist Olive Branch Hospital, and Sutherland Cardiology Clinic - Southaven.
