Your Care, Elevated.
Methodist University Hospital expansion.

Caring for our Community

Our hospital expansion is a commitment to the health of our patients and our community. It extends far beyond the steel frames and concrete of our new home to the hearts and hands of our Associates and physicians. Our modernization is a promise to keep providing the most advanced, quality care to you and your loved ones: Your care, elevated. As we celebrate our centennial year at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, we focus on what the future holds to further our commitment to providing excellent care. Our dedication to the next century begins with elevating healthcare right here in the heart of Midtown Memphis.

On October 10, 2017, Methodist University Hospital (MUH) announced the new tower addition will be named in honor of recently retired Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare President and CEO, Gary Shorb. Shorb Tower is expected to open early 2019.

MUH broke ground on the $275 million campus plan October 5, 2016.
