Hospice Residence

With the support of compassionate and generous donors, six beautifully wooded acres on Quince Road between Messick and Kirby were transformed into the Methodist Hospice Residence, a place that feels like home for many. Opened in July 2011, the Residence features 30 patient rooms, a conference room, chapel, family gathering areas and kitchens.

Each patient room offers comfortable surroundings to enable patients and families to feel more at ease. Pets, personal mementos, music and all the comforts of home are encouraged to make each room feel as close to home as possible. Specialized equipment allows a number of the rooms to be converted to care for infants and children.

One truly special feature of the Hospice Residence is the gardens and pathways within the courtyard. With views and access to the gardens available throughout the facility, patients and their families are able to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

In addition to the beautiful, state-of-the-art, home-like environment at the Residence, we provide the highest quality care and compassion to every patient and family. Hospice caregivers are dedicated to preserving dignity and comfort during one of life’s most challenging times.

Contributions in support of Methodist Hospice ensure that this level of care and comfort is available to every patient, regardless of their ability to pay.

There are several opportunities to support Methodist Hospice, including honoring your loved one through a memorial in the Residence gardens or by sponsoring a hospice patient room or work of art.
