Golf Classic

The Methodist Healthcare Golf Classic golf tournament is an annual event hosted by Methodist Healthcare Foundation.   and held at Colonial Country Club in Memphis, Tenn. Started in 2002, the Classic raises vital funds for various Foundation programs and projects. Approximately 40 teams representing more than 50 corporate partners of the Foundation participate each year. A festive Pre-Tournament Party as well as silent and live auctions are held the night prior to the tournament, and a 19th Hole Awards Reception follows play on tournament day.

The 11th annual Methodist Healthcare Golf Classic will be held at TPC Southwind on Monday, September 10, 2012.  Our Presenting Sponsor since 2001 has been Morrison Healthcare Food Services. 

2012 Beneficiary

A portion of proceeds will benefit the educational programs of the Methodist Healthcare Center of Excellence in Faith and Health. The Center of Excellence is a trusted partnership between the faith community and the healthcare system to improve access to health services and health status of the patients in the Greater Memphis community.  This is accomplished through education, training, and innovative practices that are created through the collaboration of clergy, physicians, patients, and practitioners.
