Meet Methodist Olive Branch's Centennial Baby

Posted on: January 04, 2018

Meet Penelope Bragg! She was born on 1-1-18 at 6:57 pm and was the 1st baby born at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital in 2018! Her parents are John and Lindsey Bragg of Hernando, MS. Penelope got a Methodist #MLH100 Centennial onesie and a gift basket for being the first baby born at that hospital this year!

2018 kicks off Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s Centennial celebration. Our records don’t go all the way back to 1918 when Methodist first opened, but in the last 25 years over 150,000 babies have been born at Methodist hospitals.

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is the result of a dream of Mississippi farmer John Sherard to open a hospital that would provide high-quality care for everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Sherard was committed to this mission after his minister received care in a charity ward at another Memphis hospital. To this day, we stay true to our founder as we continue to be a mission driven organization committed to providing high-quality care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.
