Interventional cardiologist Mohamed Morsy, MD, has joined Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and will practice with the health system’s Sutherland Cardiology Clinic.
He attended Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Morsy completed both a Cardiology Fellowship and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Dr. Morsy is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and in vascular interpretation by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement.
His interests include coronary interventions, endovascular arterial and venous interventions, limb ischemia and limb salvage procedures, comprehensive echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Morsy sees patients at Sutherland Cardiology Clinic - Methodist North Hospital.
