As part of our Centennial Celebration, we invite your congregation to celebrate “MLH Sunday” on Sunday, September 30, 2018. We hope this will be an opportunity to pray for the mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and for your congregation to celebrate our shared calling to heal the sick, just as Jesus did in scripture.

We invite you to celebrate MLH Sunday in whatever way is most appropriate for your congregation. We will supply worship resources, a printable bulletin insert, and important information about MLH on this page. For churches that follow the Revised Common Lectionary, one scripture passage for that Sunday is James 5:13-20, which calls for the church to anoint the sick for healing. We will also feature a new hymn based on this passage.

To help your congregation celebrate MLH Sunday, we’ve created the following materials that are ready for you to print:

If your congregation plans to participate, please answer our brief survey.
