Flu season can begin as early as October and last until May. The flu is a virus that causes an infection in the lungs, and it can be deadly. In today's Stephen Miller, M.D., says the flu can be very dangerous, so you should protect yourself by getting the flu shot.

Methodist Minor Medical Centers are offering the flu shot at two convenient locations: 8071 Winchester at Hacks Cross and 8045 Club Parkway at Cordova. The flu shot costs $25. Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is needed.
