Flu Shots - Tuesday, Oct. 23

Flu season can begin as early as October and last until May. The flu is a virus that causes an infection in the lungs and it can be deadly. Each year about 36,000 people die from the flu. In today's Methodist Healthcast, Stephen Miller, M.D., says the flu can be very dangerous so you should protect yourself by getting a flu shot.

Methodist Minor Medical Centers are offering the flu shot at two convenient locations: 8071 Winchester at Hacks Cross and 8045 Club Parkway at Cordova. The flu shot costs $25. Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is needed.
