The facility will provide acute care for symptom management and short-term residential beds. Flu Shots - Wednesday, Nov. 7 Flu season can begin as early as October and last until May. The flu is a virus that causes an infection in the lungs. Dr. Stephen Miller, VP medical education, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, says the flu can be very dangerous, even deadly, so you should protect yourself by getting the flu shot. Methodist Minor Medical Centers are offering the flu shot at two convenient locations: 8071 Winchester at Hacks Cross and 8045 Club Parkway in Cordova. The flu shot costs $25. Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is needed. Sleep Disorders and College Students - Thursday, Nov. 8 Sleep disorders are quite common in adults. Even college students can suffer from a sleep disorder.
