Neuroscience Institute
At our Neuroscience Institute, patients will find comprehensive services in one primary location at Methodist University Hospital. Specialized programs are designed to bring advanced treatment, state-of-the-art technology, and world class specialists together in a patient-centered, compassionate environment. The institute includes cutting-edge services such as minimally invasive surgery for spine, Gamma Knife surgery for brain tumors, Image Guided surgery, PET Imaging and Neuro Critical Care.
In addition, Methodist University Hospital is home to the most advanced, Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
Transplant Institute
Nationally recognized for its success with kidney, liver, kidney-pancreas and pancreas transplants, Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute has been a leader in the field for more than 30 years. In 2002 a momentous partnership between two healthcare leaders was formed - Methodist Healthcare and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
