Visitor Policy

To provide the highest level of care, visitors are not allowed routinely inside the department treatment areas except at the therapist’s discretion for family teaching and participation. Private duty nurses and attendants should remain in the waiting room unless they are to participate in delivering a home program or need education on how to assist the patient.

Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in patient care areas, unless the child is the patient, and may not be left alone in the waiting area.
