Men's Health

All men are at risk for prostate cancer. The risk increases with age, and family history also increases the risk. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, excluding skin cancer. African-American men are more likely to have prostate cancer than Caucasian men, and have nearly a two-fold higher mortality rate than Caucasian men.

When medication and other non-surgical treatments are either unavailable or cannot relieve symptoms, surgery is the accepted treatment for a broad range of conditions that affect the male reproductive organs and the organs of the urinary tract. These urologic conditions include, but are not limited to, prostate cancer, ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, bladder and kidney cancer and vesicoureteral reflux.

Robotic Prostatectomy
This method is used in treating prostate cancer. It incorporates the latest advancements in robotic-assisted technology and allows a surgeon greater visualization, enhanced dexterity, precision, control and superior ergonomics.
Urologic Surgery for Men
Surgery is sometimes recommended for certain urologic conditions including prostate cancer, ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, bladder and kidney cancer and vesicoureteral reflux.
