Childbirth is an exciting and scary experience. You fear the pains of labor, yet you look forward to seeing and holding your baby. Preparing for childbirth is the best way to make that experience as enjoyable as it should be.

Labor has various stages. Understanding what is happening during those stages will help ease your fears. Breathing and relaxation techniques are important even if you do have pain medications. And should your doctor determine that Cesarean section (C-section) is the best way to deliver your baby, you will want to understand what a C-section is and be prepared just in case.

Childbirth is an amazing process, nothing short of the miracle you are about to hold.
