Patients and Visitors

During Labor

If you choose to and your doctor approves, support people may be allowed in the birthing room. Labor is hard work, and most women do not want to talk and visit. While hospital policy does not prohibit visitors during labor, you are encouraged to have only one or two support people there to help you.

After Delivery

We realize how important it is to have family and friends close by once the baby is born. Visitors are welcome anytime after checking in with the Maternity Center front desk. The baby's brothers and sisters may also visit. Be sure they are not sick and there is an adult available to care for them. We want your baby's birthday to be special and for the whole family to enjoy it.
