We treat patients who have sustained debilitating illness or injury. Our goal is to restore the highest level of physical, emotional and intellectual functioning. One approach does not work for all patients, which is why we tailor patient plans based on specific needs. We focus on treating the body and spirit – helping our patients to become whole again. We offer services for all ages on an inpatient or outpatient basis. In addition to physical, speech and occupational therapy, we offer specialized services that include: -
Incontinence and Pelvic Rehab Program -
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy -
Wound Care -
The Hearing and Balance Center (including vestibular rehabilitation) Departmental Policies To provide the highest level of care, visitors are not allowed routinely inside the department treatment areas except at the therapist’s discretion for family teaching and participation. Private duty nurses and attendants should remain in the waiting room unless they are to participate in delivering a home program or need education on how to assist the patient. Unless a child is the patient, children under twelve years of age are not allowed in patient care areas and may not be left alone in the waiting area. Incontinence and Pelvic Rehabilitation Program While 25 percent of all adults suffer from incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction in their lifetime, few realize that these conditions can be dramatically improved or even cured through a quality treatment program. Find out more information here. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Lymphedema is a common and serious condition that causes abnormal swelling in the arms and legs. Find out more about treatment options here.
