Cancer Information Centers

Education is a critical component of cancer patient care, and patients and their families need timely information to make important treatment and lifestyle decisions. The Methodist Healthcare Cancer Information Centers provide high quality medical information to our patients and their families as well as to the community. The Cancer Information Centers enable cancer patients and family members to easily obtain information and service referrals.

Visitors and callers to the Cancer Information Center may have their questions answered by a staff member specializing in cancer resources. Also available are free pamphlets, brochures, the Cancer Survival Toolbox® audio program, a CancerHelp ® touchscreen computer, educational videotapes and resource information for hair and breast prosthetics. An assortment of books and free movie lending are also available for inpatients and overnight guest room guests.

The Cancer Information Center at Methodist University Hospital is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and is located in the Crews Wing, Suite 367. Mobile Information Centers are located in oncology inpatient waiting rooms.
