Infusion Therapy

Home Infusion Therapy is a service that allows patients to receive the vital fluids and medicines that they need at home rather than in the hospital. A doctor may prescribe IV medicines or nutrition for patients with illness or injury. Many of these therapies can be provided for patients in the comfort of their home. The IV medications and supplies are delivered to the patient's home and a member of the home infusion staff then teaches the patient and the family how to administer the therapy.

Some advantages of home infusion therapy for both the patient and family include:

  • Privacy
  • Comfort
  • Convenience
  • Personal Attention
  • Education
