So many of people take it for granted, but hearing is one of our greatest gifts, and it should be treated like the miracle it is. That's why Methodist Healthcare created the Methodist Hearing and Balance Center. It's the first of its kind in the Mid-South, and delivers a new level of comprehensive care for people who suffer hearing loss, tinnitus and other balance disorders. Specialized technology, research and expertise have been combined to effectively diagnose and treat disorders of the ear, as well as neurological or ophthalmologic balance problems in ways that can often prevent the need for surgery or prolonged medication.

It starts with a thorough evaluation of the hearing and balance system. The results determine the course of treatment. Our specialized team, which consists of five audiologists, along with a physical therapist dedicated to vestibular rehabilitation, works to pinpoint the causes of dizziness, ringing in the ears, hearing loss, and other conditions. Our team also works closely with experts in the community that specialize in neurology, ophthalmology, geriatrics, psychiatry, and otolaryngology.
