Concern and compassion for children was the driving force in the creation of Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, and it remains the inspiration for providing advanced pediatric care to this day.

The Mid-South's premier pediatric hospital, Le Bonheur operates the only pediatric emergency department and pediatric intensive care unit in the area. The hospital serves more than 160,581 children each year from a 95-county area in six states with satellite facilities in east Memphis, Germantown, Cordova and southeast Memphis.

At Le Bonheur, we emphasize the use of a child-oriented approach to pediatric care, providing whatever creative means necessary to help children recuperate and return home as quickly as possible. We are the only pediatric referral center for the one million children living within a 150-mile radius of Memphis.

The hospital employs about 1,700 Associates and features 45 pediatric specialties. Thanks to the overall commitment of the people and doctors who work here, Le Bonheur has received an international reputation as a healing center for children from birth to age 21.
