The Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service has been a partner with Methodist Healthcare for more than 40 years. It has provided over one million dollars in new medical equipment in the past 10 years alone.
There are currently 12 volunteers working at Methodist University, Germantown and North. These volunteers provide clerical help to offices, escort patients to their appointments and work the information desks to assist Methodist Healthcare in providing quality patient care.
How You Can Help
For as little as seven cents per day, you can give the gifts of sight and hearing to a needy individual. Memberships are available for individuals or families starting at $25 per year. Personal bequests and planned giving, as well as memorials and honorary gifts, can provide large and long-lasting gifts of sight and hearing to help those in need. Contact our office for more details.
Over the past few years, 83% of every dollar donated to Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service has gone directly to patient care. With discounts and donations from medical partners, the Lions Club provides about $5 in service for every dollar spent on patient care.
