Daniel Stanton has been named administrator of Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute. Previously, Stanton served as director of Operations for UT Bowld Hospital and in 2004 transitioned into his role as director of Operations of the Transplant Institute. In addition, in 2006 he assumed the director of Operations role for the Methodist University and Methodist Germantown Radiation Oncology Centers. “Daniel is uniquely qualified to assume the role of administrator of the Transplant Institute,” said Vic Perini, vice president of Operations at Methodist University Hospital. “He’s been a key leader of the transplant program and has also assisted in developing strategic and operational business plans for other service lines at Methodist University Hospital. One of our goals for the Transplant Institute is to have it recognized as one of the top ten transplant programs in the nation. I believe that with Daniel’s extensive knowledge of this program, his commitment to clinical excellence, and his strong leadership skills, we’ll meet that goal.” Stanton received his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare and Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his masters’ degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
