Barry S. Marshall, Administrator, Clinical Business Development and Cardiovascular Service Line at Methodist University Hospital, has been named to a three year term on the board of directors of the Shelby County Division of the American Heart Association.

Marshall joined Methodist in 2004 as the director of the Transplant Institute at Methodist University Hospital. Prior to joining Methodist, he held positions as the Administrator of Transplant Services at the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati; Senior Consultant for Transplant Management Group (TMG); Director of Transplant Services and Managed Care at the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
 
He received his bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Canyon College
