Barry Marshall has been named administrator of Clinical Business Development at Methodist University Hospital. Marshall joined Methodist in 2004 as administrator of the Transplant Institute. In his new position, Marshall will be responsible for developing a strategic plan of the Renal/Dialysis, Cardiology and Vascular service lines, including analyzing industry trends in positioning the service lines for success “Barry brings an incredible amount of experience to his new position,” said Cecelia Sawyer, administrator and chief executive officer of Methodist University Hospital. “Under his leadership, I’m confident that Methodist University will continue its positive momentum of elevating our service to the level of excellence each patient deserves.” Prior to joining Methodist, he held positions as the administrator of transplant services at the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati; Senior Consultant for Transplant Management Group (TMG); Director of Transplant Services and Managed Care at the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marshall received his bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Canyon College.
