The Robotic Surgery Center at Methodist North Hospital is offering free PSA testing during September for prostate cancer awareness month. More than 3,000 men in Tennessee with be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, yet with early detection and treatment, there is a 90% cure rate. A simple blood test, called a PSA screening, is one tool used in detection. Men ages 50 and older are invited to take a free PSA test.
